Alasala Language Institute Instructor

​*Looking for a female native English speaker from the USA, Canada, or United Kingdom with experience teaching post-secondary school students face-to-face in a classroom setting and a TESOL/TEFL certificate qualitifcation. ​Successful candidates will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging English language lessons tailored to meet the needs of Arabic college students.​

Job Duties:
-Implementing the school curriculum and provide engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse learners.
-Provide academic support and guidance to students, addressing their individual learning needs and challenges.
-Foster an inclusive and culturally sensitive learning environment that respects the cultural backgrounds and beliefs of students.
-Use excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Communicate regularly with students and colleagues in a professional manner.
-Actively and positively participate in all meetings.
-Meet all established deadlines.
-Adhere to institutional policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
-Must hold a passport from one of the following countries : USA, Canada, South Africa, Ireland, United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand.
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in English Language Teaching, Education, Linguistics OR related field OR TEFL, TESOL, CELTA equivalent teaching certification.
-Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English as a second language to college-level students. (preferred but not mandatory)
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate
with diverse groups of students.
-Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning
resources.
-Cultural sensitivity and awareness working in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Benefits:
-Total: SAR 14,000 per month (includes base pay, accommodation allowance, and transportation costs) *Roughly $3,700 USD per month (negotiable based on qualifications)

Riyadh English or Math & Science Tutor (Full time)

Requirements:
-Native English speaker from the UK - female candidates only.
-For English Tutor: Bachelor’s degree in the English or any related fields (English Literature, Creative Writing, etc). Advanced degrees or teaching certifications are a plus.-For Math & Science Tutor: Bachelor’s degree in the mathematics field. Advanced degrees or teachingcertifications are a plus.-TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is required for English tutors.
-Proven experience a minimum of two years teaching at various academic levels.
-For English tutor: Strong understanding of english grammatical principles and concepts.-For Math & Science tutor: Strong understanding of mathematical and scientific principles and concepts.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability and willingness to work in a multicultural environment.

Job Description:
The role is a full-time teacher to a son & daughter of a well-respected local Saudi family, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English or Cambridge International Primary curriculum in mathematics and the sciences, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping the student succeed academically. The role includes 4 hours of teaching at the family home and 4 hours of academic administration at the office. Alternatively, it can be a full-time 8 hours dedicated to academic administration at the
office.

Responsibilities:
-Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in english subjects.
-Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to tailor lesson plans and instructional
methods accordingly.
-Assist the student with homework, test preparation, and project assignments.
-Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to build the student's
confidence and motivation.
-Track and report the student's progress to the parents.
-Stay updated with the latest educational trends, techniques, and curriculum changes.
-Develop and utilize engaging teaching materials and resources to enhance the learning
experience.
-Communicating with the parents regarding the student's progress and areas needing
improvement.
-Coordinate with the school's management and teachers to monitor and track the
student's academic progress and grades
-Ensure the student reaches the school’s targeted score of at least 120 points.

Compensation:
*SAR 18,000 per month full package (roughly $4,800 USD per month - negotiable)
*Health insurance will be provided.

country
